Oh, please. I have been to England, for example, and seen many ugly cities with litter strewn around and dilapidated buildings. There's no comparison, to be honest but people complain. Nonetheless, I love England; I had a great time there. Łódź is a very unique city that not everyone can appreciate. It has its own ugly spots, but it also boasts over 1600 old townhouses and 600 palaces - that is impressive, to say the least. I just hope they will be restored to their former glory; it would be a pity if that's not the case. Overall, Łódź is a pretty and interesting place to be. It just needs more tender love and care. Poland itself is really clean and beautiful, I would say. Having been all around Europe, it's a shame that so many Polish people don't recognize it and think thay abroad is somehow better.

Festival of Lights is the most amazing weekend you can have in Łodz. If you ever come to see it, you be amazed. Also there are better parks then the ugliest park in Lodz. Try to see some historical sites, cotton museum, undergrounds under Plac Wolnosci, Planetarium, Zoo.

I have almost all the documents required and apostilled just waiting for a couple more. So I could come with what I have and them translated in italy? Sounds easier than dealing with the consolate that is 8 hours away from where I live.

Hi! I enjoyed watching this video very much. But as a Polish person who walks in the mountains, I have to ad that: it’s not always as cosy and pretty as in this video. The weather changes, and you have to have appropriate shoes - above the ankle, and a paper map, because the network coverage might stop. Moralise oko is easy to get to, but once you’re there you might be tempted to go to Rysy or other more challenging peaks
